After more than three decades as a biomedical researcher—teaching, training and mentoring Honours, Master’s and PhD students, and publishing over 50 research articles—I created BiologyWithin.com to share scientific knowledge with the public in plain language.

For several years, I considered whether to continue writing mainly for scientific audiences or to explain science directly to the public. I chose the latter, and BiologyWithin.com is where those articles are finally finding a home.

BiologyWithin.com is not a clinical blog or a source of medical advice. It is simply a place where I share the scientific knowledge and experience I have gained over the years—without making it sound like a scientific paper.
